I get excited about games.
In daily life, I design Serious Games for a wide variety of organizations. Using games, I offer players new insights, help them practice new skills, and broaden their perspectives.
It’s no different in LARP. However, instead of supporting organizational change, I use those same skills to tell impactful stories—both as an organizer and a player. How do you use mechanics, dynamics, and aesthetics to make a tailor-made story? That’s the most exciting challenge of the craft for me!
It’s easy for me to stay in my own little world. I get excited about all the different concepts I hear about, but I often miss the chance to participate and broaden my own horizons. I’m looking for new perspectives to hone my own skills, which makes an initiative like Larpbook all the more interesting!
I’m looking forward to seeing what this experiment will bring!
