The team behind Larpbook

Joschi

For Joschi, the Larp hobby began around 2000 with small adventures with school friends in the forest. A lot has happened since then. Today he larps everything from the submarine con “Schleichfahrt” to Tales Inside and Legion to L’inconscience in Spain. But his greatest passion remains fantasy larp in Germany, where he also organizes his own campaign, the “Fallen Light”. Joschi is the initiator of the Larpbook and is heavily involved in all areas.

Franzi

For Franzi, working on Larpbook is motivated by activism. Designing a savespace for our hobby – without the algorithms and political hatred and agitation – is the big dream behind it.
Turning away from the META products inspired the idea for Larpbook and so I hope to find a home for all my thousand larp interests. These include crafting, plotting and of course gaming in almost all genres (in Germany but also internationally).

Tim

Tim is larping since 2002, mostly fantasy. Modern, grimdark, historical and horror in the past. His driving thought is that LARP need connection, interaction spaces and meeting points that are not controlled by companies. Art and hobbies are best for him if they are not driven by profit and exploitation. Tim hopes that Larpbook helps us in creating a international, intersectional place that feels safe for all of us.

Anja

Anja has been larping since 2005, mostly in the world of classic fantasy – though she occasionally drifts into sci-fi or grimdark. What drives her work on Larpbook is the dream of a central, independent and safe place for the larp community. A place that doesn’t rely on fragmented Discord servers, Facebook groups, random Google Docs or buried forum threads. She wants Larpbook to become a home for all larp genres – whether you’re just getting started or have been around for decades.

Christian

Christian discovered the LARP hobby in 1999, when he made his debut as the organizer. He has mainly focused in the gameworld of Aventuria (DSA), but he also enjoys other worlds and genres from time to time. He pursues his ambition to support and promote the hobby of LARP through his involvement in several nonprofit associations and projects. With his passion for lines of code and web applications, he wants to support a great and sustainable concept for our hobby: the Larpbook!

Ronja

Larp has been a part of Ronja’s life since 2013. Starting from small fantasy events it evolved into longtime fantasy campaigns, scifi and modern larp – as player, NPC or organizier.
For Ronja, larp means creating safe spaces to be creative and connect with a large community of people you’d otherwise never have met. Larpbook is aiming to enable this part of larp online as well as offline.

Philipp

For Philipp, Larp is more than a hobby since 2000. It’s the playground for feelings and heavy involvement. Some steps in personal evolution which are accelerated by Larp, are easier to go with companions. And so the steps into a Larp driven community zone in Larpbook seems obvious, especially you want to keep your data private or not in companies hands.

Leonard

Leo has started larping in 2014. Mostly you find him playing his knight at witcher LARPs. But he also plays Warhammer, Cthulhu, Western, Sci-Fi and Historical LARPs. LARP is such a wonderful hobby, because it involves acting, organizing, crafting, writing and so much more. And all these things work best if you share them. LARP has always been a hobby about creating connections. Now we can connect on Larpbook.
