In 10 days I’ll talk in a french roundtable about Moving the larp community away from Facebook.
One result on a quantitative study is about the global affinity with other social media (larp related or not)
Results are clear : Besides Facebook (and now Larpbook), there’s not much to shelter to. Discord is the first choice, but there are a lot of things unavailable here for a community.
I’ve to say I would have bet on Reddit to be a potential challenger, but it’s clearly a no-go.
So yeah, it’s a “larpbook or nothing” situation.
cyrus, benjamindupiech and 5 others-
Image translation : In red a “I don’t like it”, light red “I don’t really like”, light green “I kinda like it”, and green “I love it”. In grey it’s “I don’t know this one”

Certains parlent déjà de déserter Discord du fait des risques d’évolution de la plateforme liés a son introduction en bourse : https://mastodon.social/@seb_le_panda/114174508584218430
