Some pictures from our Run 3 of Wing and a Prayer. A historical Larp set during the Battle of Britain, focused on the experiences of women serving in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force.
Players get to operate a fully functioning replica of the Dowding air defence system, including radar stations, plotting, filtering and the Operations Room, making tactical and strategical decisions about where and how to intercept Luftwaffe raids targeting the South-East of England, and get to explore the emotional and human cost of these decisions. It’s a unique blend of a Nordic and a Job-Larp.
It ran 9-11 May on the Stow Maries Aerodrome in Essex, UK.
