Wir haben das Widget, dass auf ein unvollständiges Profil hinweis, vorläufig deaktiviert. Die Profilfelder für die Social Media Konten müssen wir noch so einrichten, dass man sie optional befüllen kann. Das ist noch ein offenes ToDo.

6 months agoStar Trek LARP 6 months agoGrußfrequenzen aktiviert.
Die USS Atlas Orga ist jetzt auch auf Larpbook. Unseren Facebook-Account werden wir zwar nicht löschen, um dort weiterhin gefunden zu werden, aber wir werden auf Facebook nichts mehr posten. Stattdessen möchten wir (auch) Larpbook für öffentliche Ankündigungen nutzen.
Sprecht uns gerne jederzeit an, wenn es Fragen gibt.

To all crafty people!
I love creating larps and bringing stories to life. I’m doing quite well at the logistics stuff, boring admin tasks and storytelling. BUT I’m not a very crafty/creative person when it comes to props and costumes, I kinda dread it and am not quite as resourceful as others. Still, it needs to be done.
So: what are your tips…

Well, one trick is to do things in exchange! Others detest the “boring” stuff – have them help you figure out what props and costume pieces will please you, and then, let them make it, while you do that other stuff in exchange.
Or buy something, second hand, to adjust and tweak as much as you like, or new by someone who has the skills and drive…2 -
I also suggest: Look at what you have! Sometimes, an old kitchen utensil can be perfectly used for an antenna or something 😀 I also agree that sharing is so valuable! I love crafting but am not the best at organisation so let’s trade!

Core tip for scifi is low light – even a small garden/terrace awning in low light with some trashcans and some plastic already looks properly distopian. If you go for high end I would look into breaking the core environment angles, nothing screams spaceship or scifi more than no 90 degree angles and straight lines in places we don’t expect them.
