I am looking for a larger flower wreath – does anyone have any tips?
For my knight figure, I’ve been thinking for what feels like 100 years about how she can still look feminine even with a helmet/chain hood.
At the moment the solution is a wreath of flowers. I already like this one, but it could do with a lot more flowers, especially at the back. Does anyone accidentally have a good tip on where I can get something like this already finished (and ideally with artificial but real-looking flowers)?
Etsy mainly spits out dried flowers (which are also cool in civilian clothes, but really too bad for fighting).

Wie wäre es mit so einem Hutwulst, dessen Enden wie Blüten zugeschnitten sind? Da gibt’s tolle historische Abbildungen. Eigentlich aus der Zivilmode aber was soll’s?

@franzi habe jetzt nur eine Abbildung gefunden. Ansonsten gibt’s auch so in der italienischen Renaissancemode für Frauen so einen Pfauenwulst. Das eine Bild bekomme ich leider nicht hochgeladen.

Vielleicht eine Schicht Stoff unter die Blumen packen, damit das ganze mehr heraussticht, und hübsche Bänder, die hinterher flattern können? 🤔

I would also recommend a helmet decor turney style. With some sort or flourish helmet sash or carved laurel and flower wreath a bit more substantial. Choose finer materials like braiding three silk shawls into a wreath or a shiny brocade fabric as helmet veil tail.
And may i suggest making a more fitting padding and chainmail hood(maybe its already fitted and just worn loose for that photo, then ignore that comment),
For my taste your face and fitted armor with finer painted patterns or lighter “often suggested more feminine” colors can do that already.
Or always nice, also for men, are broad silver or gold neckchain, also maybe with flower links or other finer chain links.

Larger silk flowers at the back might help, although for flowers, I generally just go scrounging in second-hand stores. I also think you’re on to something good with the lace string hanging down at the back there!
